Situation
The Novell Filr 1.0 Deskop client for Windows and Mac OS X does not synchronize data when network latencies occur.
When the filr server response to the client takes longer than a certain time-out, the client closes the connection.

Resolution
This has been addressed in Novell Filr 1.0.1 and later releases.
The updated client will not close the http connection, it will rather set the http connection as keep-alive.

Cause
Network latency causes the client to close the connection when a http response from the server takes too long.
