Situation
How can users switch languages in SSPR?
How can multiple SSPR users see different languages when attached to the same SSPR server?
How can I change the flag icon associated with a particular language?
How can I change the flag icon associated with a particular language?
Resolution
SSPR defaults to the language set in the browser.
To change language, click the “Flag” at the bottom of the SSPR screen and choose the desired language.
This option is available on any SSPR page.
Also, in case a different flag is desired for a particular language, note that SSPR's locale/flag associations are configurable. This is done in SSPR Configuration Manager under Settings -> Application -> Known Locales.
Enter the ISO code for the locale and the ISO code for the flag.
For example, if you want a Canadian flag to be associated with the English language, enter and save this locale/ flag combination:
en::ca
Or if NO flag is desired for the English local, enter and save this combination:
en::
If multiple entries with different flags have been created for a particular browser locale, the one furthest down the list will be applied.
