Auto Update does not occur with 5.82 thru 5.92 iPrint Client installed

Copying the newer iPrint Client installation files to the server should result in workstations being auto prompted to install the newer version of the iPrint client at boot up and when loading the /ipp page.  However, when any version of the iPrint Client between versions 5.82 and 5.92 are installed on the workstation, the auto update does not happen.

Manually push the iPrint Client to workstations using ZCM or some other desktop software distribution method.  You can also copy the updated nipp.exe (version 5.94) to the /var/opt/novell/iprint/htdocs/clients/ directories (see the various desktop operating system folders in the "clients" directory) and have the end users click the "Install iPrint Client" on the /ipp page.

If the 5.94 version of the iPrint Client is installed, future auto updates will occur. 

The iPrint client versions 5.82 through 5.92 have a bug where it does not check for new iPrint client installation files on the server (in /var/opt/novell/iprint/htdocs/clients/).

The /var/opt/novell/iprint/htdocs/iprint.ini allows the administrator to configure how the auto update works.  The default is 1; Update client at boot time, prompt user.

AllowAutoUpdate = 1

1 = Update client at boot time, prompt user.
2 = Update client at boot time, don't prompt user
