Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2
Situation
On a device with tight user restrictions on registry, ZENworks login failure results in ZENworks login prompt despite the setting of:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\ZCM\ZenLgn]
"DisablePassiveModeLoginPrompt"=dword:00000001
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.3 - see KB 7014213 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3 - update information and list of fixes", which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7014213
Workaround: Set the rights on the ZCM keys as read/write for users. Cause
Zenlgn reads the registry as user with ALL_ACCESS rights.
