Calling YaST module inst_oes_preconfig has failed.

Situation

Installing OES11sp2 with the overlay media "OES11-SP2-addon_with_SLES11-SP3-x86_64-DVD.iso" on VMware Workstation 10 using the  "VMware Easy Install" feature, will result in with the following message:

Calling the YaST module 'inst_oes_preconfig has failed.

Resolution

When creating the VM in VMware Workstation, Choose "I will install the
operating system later.".  Then after the virtual machine is created, edit the
VM settings and attach the ISO, the "Easy Install" feature is then bypassed.

Cause

OES11-SP2-addon_with_SLES11-SP3-x86_64-DVD.iso is detected as SLES11 by VMware.
