Novell ZENworks Application Virtualization
Microsoft Office Access 2007
Microsoft Windows 7

Building Microsoft Office Access 2007 as a virtual application on Windows 7
The virtual Access application will run on the original build machine, but not on other Windows 7 machines

The following error is seen when launching the app:

A system error has occurred or there is not enough free memory to start Microsoft Office Access. Close unneeded programs and try again.

Build the Access 2007 virtual application on Windows XP instead of on Windows 7.

A component of the .NET Framework doesn't get built into the app if it is built on Windows 7. When the build is done on Windows XP, the needed component gets included in the virtual application.
