SMIME Error When GroupWise from the Startup Folder

Novell GroupWise 2014

Situation

S/MIME verification error launching GroupWise..

'Verification of S/MIME component failed.'

grpwise.exe is by itself in the startup folder.

Resolution

Remove grpwise.exe from startup folder.

Replace it with a shortcut to the grpwise.exe the place where GroupWise install placed it.

Cause

Supporting components for the grpwise.exe were not in place to defray the error.
