NWTRAY.EXE crashes during login

Environment

Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows

Situation

When initially logging in from the Novell Credential Provider, the NWTRAY.EXE application (the Red N in the system tray) crashes. Exception code is c0000005.

Running "nwtray.exe" after logon restores the Red N in the system tray.

Resolution

Examine the applicable login scripts for errors.

Cause

Login script had an incorrect FQN for the user.

To troubleshoot, click on the "Show Advanced Options" links, then select the "Script" tab, and deselect the "Run Scripts" option.
