Novell iPrint Client for Macintosh

Situation

The following message results when sending a print job:
'Backend' failed
This problem occurs when the following criteria are met:
  • iPrint Client for Mac version 5.78 installed
  • The Printer Agent is SSL enabled
  • The length of the printer agent name is 20 characters or longer

Resolution

Install the iPrint Client for Macintosh version 5.80 or later.
