Novell ZENworks Dynamic Local User (DLU)
Situation
When attempting to login as a Windows Domain user, the login always completes as a local Windows user. This is true whether the Domain is entered in the advanced login Windows tab "From" field, or by means of a System or User login profile.
Resolution
It is not possible to achieve a Domain logon when the user is being created by ZENwork DLU.
Cause
Because ZENworks is installed and a ZENworks DLU policy is in effect for the eDirectory user, the local machine name is used because that is what is supplied by ZENworks. ZENworks DLU only creates and manages local Windows accounts.
