Uploading very large files from the Filr Desktop client into Net Folders fails

Situation

If a very large file is being uploaded from the Filr Desktop client into a Net Folder (or user's Home folder) and the upload takes longer than 2 minutes, the Desktop client times out and shows an error. Desktop client retries the upload later, but by that time, the Filr server has finished processing the file and rejects the (re-try) upload.

Resolution

An updated Desktop client with a fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.2 Hot Patch 2 / Filr 1.1 Hot Patch 4, available via the Novell Patch Finder.
