Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows
Situation
On some workstations, XTSvcMgr can crash intermittently.
Error/exception code is 0xC00000005.
Resolution
Fixed in Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (IR4) or later.
Additional Information
Simply de-selecting SLP as a name resolver (Red N > Novell Client Properties > Name Services tab) is not sufficient to prevent SLP from being used in those cases where it is the only name resolver available, such as the "Network" view in Windows Explorer, where available network resources are listed.
