Situation
User modified a file that was previously synchronized / downloaded from one of the Net Folders and/or Home folder. Suppose the user was working offline and making changes to this file. Before the changes were synchronized back up to the server, someone moved/deleted the file from the backend filesystem. This causes the Desktop client to show a Pending change to Delete the file because it no longer exists in the filesystem. However, this change never completes and the user continues to see this pending change as follows:
Pending Change: Delete
Problem: File modified locally
Pending Change: Delete

Resolution
An updated Desktop client with a fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.2 Hot Patch 2, available via the Novell Patch Finder. A fix for Filr 1.1 is not available and it is recommended that you upgrade to the latest Filr version.
With the fix in place, when a modified file gets synchronized back to the server and the actual file has been moved/deleted from the backend filesystem, the sync app will create any parent folder structure that has been deleted and upload the file as a new file.
