Desktop client stuck while attempting to move folders

Environment

Novell Filr 1.1
Novell Filr 1.2
Novell Filr Desktop client 1.1
Novell Filr Desktop client 1.2

Situation

User tries to move folders from within the Desktop client which does not complete causing the Desktop client to get stuck. When this happens, the following error is logged in the filr.log:

2015-09-16 02:30:06,559 [file-event-processor] [ERROR] An unknown error occurred while attempting to move the folder My Files\folder1\Test ABC to My Files\folder1\Test ABC on the server (aca.filesync2.processor.local)
2015-09-16 02:30:06,559 [file-event-processor] [ERROR] Exception: <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'> (aca.excepts)
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "aca\filesync2\processor\local.pyo", line 311, in ProcessMovedFolderChange
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'SetParent'

Resolution

An updated Desktop client with a fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.2 Hot Patch 2 / Filr 1.1 Hot Patch 4, available via the Novell Patch Finder.
