Environment

iPrint Appliance patch 1,2,3 and 4
OES11SP2 November patch and earlier

Situation

After uploading the EFI Fiery driver to the driver store and assigning the driver to a printer, attempting to install the printer to a workstation results in an error with 0x00000002.

Resolution

Fix is on novell-iprint-server included with January maintenance patch for oes11sp2.

Cause

Fiery drivers uses multi-level directories to store the files. The iPrint client creates the correct structures, but the driver store daemon does not understand the multi-level director structures, failing to create the correct resources.zip file on the driver store.

Status
