Novell Filr 2.0
Situation
On Filr systems with very large data sets setup with MS-SQL as the database, a re-index task takes several hours or even days to complete. In some tests 60,000 folders were re-indexed in 36 hours. This issue is only observed on systems setup with a MS-SQL database.
Resolution
A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 2.0 Hot Patch 1, available via the Novell Patch Finder.

Important Note:
If you change your database username or password, the fix applied using the Filr 2.0 Hot Patch 1 will be reset. To re-apply the fix, a small shell script is available for download here. To run this script, download, unzip and place the script on your Filr appliance's /root folder and execute using:
sh fix_jdbc_url_filr20.sh
