Novell ZENworks Patch Management 11.4.2
Situation
During Subscription Download (ZPM) OSPXHelper process writes to /opt/novell/zenworks/bin/tmp folder. If the process finishes cleanly it will remove files written to that location. However in some cases files remain even after Subscription Download completes.
Resolution
This is fixed in version ZENworks Configuration Management 2017 Update 1 - see KB 7020155 "ZENworks Configuration Management 2017 Update 1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7020155
Workaround:
If files are left in /opt/novell/zenworks/bin/tmp after the Subscription download is complete, they may be deleted manually to clean up disk space. To confirm, go to ZCC/Patches and view the dashboard to confirm that the Subscription Download is not running.
