Custom AD Supervisor Group does not get set during NSS AD configuration

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2015 (OES 2015) Linux Support Pack 1

Situation

When specifying an AD Supervisor Group other than "Domain Admins" during the NSS AD configuration, it fails to set the AD Supervisor Group and it gets the default value of "Domain Admins"
 

Resolution

After the NSS AD configuration completes and the OES server is joined to the AD Domain, run "nitconfig set ad-supervisor-group=CustomGroupName" to set the desired AD Supervisor Group.
 
This has been reported to engineering.

Error in /var/log/YaST2/y2log:
[NIT_LDAP  0x7f84d2341700]: nitd_verify_ad_supervisor_group: supervisor's group name - CustomGroupName
[NIT_THRD  0x7f84d2341700]: nitd_verify_ad_supervisor_group: Error, couldn't get the joined domain, cannot proceed further
