Situation

When defining an OAuth client application and scopes, the scope 'description' field allows the adding of html tags where simple javascript statements can be added easily. If an OAuth client then requests such a scope, the javascript can get executed and cause the possible xss attack.

Resolution

Apply 4.3.2 or 4.2.4.
