Can I use my Reload backup and restore mail through Console One?
Answer:
Yes. Mail can be restored, using a Reload backup, from Console One. When restoring mail for a user in Console One it is important to know that this will restore all of the users mail.
Here are the steps to restore.
1) Restore Area needs to be configured.
2) In GroupWise Administration: go into the user object that you would like to restore mail for.
2) In Console One: highlight a user that you would like to restore mail for.
3) In GroupWise Adminstration: Select the option: "More | Restore | Yes"
3) In ConsoleOne: Go into Tools | GroupWise Utility | Backup/Restore Mailbox...
4) In ConsoleOne: The user will be listed on the Object: row
5) Verify that the path is configured to the correct path. Use this kb article to verify the Restore mode setup.
6) Click Yes to submit the restore job
