Environment

GroupWise 2014 R2 Support Pack 2

Situation

Steps to duplicate:

1.Access the GroupWise Administration Console and open the properties for the domain, the post office or the individual user.

2.Click on Client Options and on the Environment tab, click on Cleanup. Set the Client Option "Do not purge items until they are backed up" and click on OK.

3.Log in to GroupWise WebAccess and compose a new mail with a subject of Save 1.

4.Wait for the draft to be autosaved and notice that the draft is being stored in the Work In Progress folder.

5.Change the subject of the new mail from Save 1 to Save 2.

6.Wait for the draft to be autosaved and notice that the draft is being stored in the Work In Progress folder, but that the old draft is being stored in the Trash folder.

The customer uses mailbox size limits and the old drafts are counted towards the mailbox size limits.

Resolution

This has been resolved in FTF builds for both GroupWise 2014 R2 and GroupWise 18.  Please open a service request and ask for the fix appropriate to your system
