GAL never syncs to GMS

GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 Support Pack 1

Situation

Add users to the GroupWise system and the Global Address List never updates on GMS therefore you cannot add the user to GMS.

Resolution

1.  Login to the GroupWise Admin Console
2.  Go to the Post Office that contains the GMS Address Book User
3.  Go to the Settings tab
4.  Ensure that Create Deltas is enabled under the Address Book Update Settings section

On the GMS server in the groupwise-agent.log file you will see the address book sync process start, but the "lastSequence" number never increments.
