Environment

Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 7.2 SP1
Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.0
Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.1
Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.2
Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.2 SP1

Situation

When a client terminal screen width is 129 characters or more, some characters are missing.

Resolution

  • Upgrade to Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.2 SP1 Update1 HF4 (8.2.1.1112)  Contact Micro Focus Customer Care to obtain 8.2.1.1112; support2@microfocus.com or 800.688.3270.
  • Known Issue: When display columns is 132 through 198, wrapping occurs at the correct column and there are no missing characters. At >198 columns, wrapping occurs after the 198th column.  For example, when display columns is set to 200 then the 99th and 100th characters display on the next line. There are no missing characters.
  • Workaround: In versions less than 8.2.1.1112, set display columns to 128 or less with "autowrap" enabled.  The autowrap setting is enabled by default.  To check the setting go to Setup | Terminal... | Emulation.
