Micro Focus Filr 3.3
Situation
In some Filr deployments, shutting down and rebooting of Filr and/or Filr Search appliances may result in the SuSE Firewall configuration (/etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2) getting truncated. When this happens, all connectivity to the Filr appliances is lost. On some reported systems, the file size changed from 35KB to 1022 bytes after reboot.
Reverting back to the default Firewall configuration restores connectivity.
Resolution
A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.4 Update.
