PaperCut
Situation
After upgrading to OES2018, the iPrint and PaperCut environment becomes non-responsive after many users start using the system. Users are unable to print and the PaperCut admin console is not accessible.
Resolution
Increase the DefaultTasksMax setting in the /etc/systemd/system.conf file.
For more information concerning this setting refer to the SLES documentation.
Cause
Insufficient threads for the iPrint and PaperCut processes.
Additional Information
In the server.log file you may see messages like:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native threadWARN QueuedThreadPool:661 - Unexpected thread death:....................
ERROR AppServer:597 - Exception in thread "http-536". unable to create new native thread [http-536]
