Situation
You had working messenger system running initial 18.2 build. After applying the patch 1, it will not start.
Resolution
When you apply the patch 1, you shall indeed run also configuration part of the installation although you would just confirm suggested values.
This is necessary as arango DB parts comes with a default conf file which fails to start properly. Therefore other parts of the messenger will not start neither as they cannot connect to the arango DB and read older system configuration.
When you review /etc/arangodb3/arangod.conf, the endpoint section is not set to 8320 but 8529 or some other values. Preferably do not edit this file manually. Rather re-run the installation and go over the configuration section which fills in given values into proper files.
