Environment
GroupWise 18.1.1
Situation
GroupWise 18.1.1 windows client , apparently any language, will not
print plain text mail
messages when the Windows printer "name" has diacritical characters in the name.
Steps to duplicate:
-------------------
1. On Windows 7 (or Windows 10) with the GroupWise windows client 18.1.1 build 134910
installed (what I tested with).
2. Install a printer to Windows, the printer you would normally use, but when
you name the printer give it the name of: sharpéèêëçñåeu
3. Login to the GroupWise Windows client and print an HTML mail message, it will work fine.
4. In the GroupWise Windows client print a plain text mail message. It will not print.
You will see the print job never hits the printer queue.
5. On the same computer, using the GW14.2.3 build 129832 the problem does not happen

Resolution
This has been reported to engineering. The current workaround
is to not use extended ascii characters in the name of the Widows
printer.
