Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Server on Linux
Situation
ERROR: "Error: Could not stop novell-zenserver. Exiting........"
After backing up and restoring the internal ZENworks database using:
/opt/novell/zenworks/share/sybase/bin32/ZenworksLinuxDBRestore.sh -F
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.0.3 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround: Stop the service manually with "novell-zenworks-configure -c Start" or "/etc/init.d/novell-zenserver stop".

Info and error from running restore:
The novell-zenserver needs to be stopped for the database restore to be
performed.
