"rug restart" fails

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

ERROR: "WARNING: ZMD is currently busy with some important activity, your request will be processed afterwards."

Cannot perform "rug restart"

Problem only occurs if "rug restart" is attempted immediately after installing the agent


Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround:
do "rug restart -f"

Additional Information

"rug ref" works, so the agent is installed correctly.
