Situation
The ZLM client
hangs, the last
zmd-messages.log file entry on the client is:

Note - the ZLM agent writes an error to an older backup version of the zmd-messages log file.
The only content is:
“...
ERROR: could not create remoting socket directory
...”

Resolution
To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem,
follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks
