DNS resolution fails after using dnssearch.s to update resolv.conf

Situation

Using dnssearch.s, the domain name in the updated resolv.conf has quotes around the domain name

name resolution fails

For ZDM7/ZDML7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4 Hot Patch 5, see KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For ZCM 10.3: This is fixed in the ZENworks Imaging Update for June 2010 - see KB 7004086 "ZENworks Imaging Updates" found at https://www.novell.com/support for details of how to obtain this update.

Additional Information

The problem occurs because of the move to a SLES 11 kernel - the "zhw -network" command that was previously used in dnssearch.s was returning a null value
