Passthrough authentication fails when AD name has hyphen (special characters) with Citrix VDA installed

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2

Situation

Windows 7 passivemode login fails when Citrix Virtual Desktop Agent (VDA) is installed and the Realm name has special characters such as hyphen.
