Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 7 - ZDM7 Imaging - Support Pack 1
Situation
The file /bin/zenAdvancedScript is not populated when the script is too large and is therefore not run.
Resolution
Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, available at Novell Downloads.
Additional Information
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1) Create a ZENworks Image object in eDirectory.
2) Ensure it is a Scripted ZENworks Image.
3) Enter the large script in to the Script Text Area.
4) Associate this to a WorkStation Object.
5) On the Workstation Object -> ZENworks Imaging -> Configuration ->"Put an image on this workstation on next boot".
6) Boot the workstation to the ZENworks Linux Imaging environment enter "img auto"
