The Novell exteNd Messaging Platform provides the following utilities and servers all written in Java.
The certificate tool.
Utility to change a registered server's deployment descriptor.
Utility to delete unused Doors - Solaris only.
The dbinit
utility program is used to create and
delete the database tables requires by the JMS server. The database
utility program also allows you to dump information about destinations.
The IIOP Connection Concentrator server.
The IDL to Java compiler.
The jbconsole
utility program displays monitorable properties
of running ORB server applications.
The jbrunner
utility program makes it easy to run ORB client
applications. It automatically sets all necessary command line parameters.
The jmqconfig
utility program is used to dump
the state of a running JMS server into an XML file. The resulting
file contains information about destinations and security settings (users,
groups and access control lists). The utility program can also be used to
load the state described in an XML into a running JMS server.
The jmqmon
program monitors a JMS server.
If the server crashes, it will automatically be restarted by the monitor.
The jmqrun
utility program makes it easy to run
JMS client applications. It automatically sets all necessary command
line parameters.
The jmqserv
program is used to start and stop the
JMS Server.
The jmqutil
utility program is used to create and
delete JMS destinations (queues and topics). Destination properties
can be specified on the command line.
