Beginning with NetWare® 6.5, the Cluster Services Management Agent (cma.nlm) was extended to support an _ADMIN: virtual file interface. For a description of the CMA, see Cluster Services Management Agent. Extending the cma.nlm was chosen to enable XML management because it is already the central point for remote cluster management.
IMPORTANT:Although Novell continues to support the Novell Cluster Services SDK, it is being deprecated and replaced with the XML cluster management services described in this section.
The XML services described in this section must meet the same system requirements listed in NCS Requirements for NetWare 6.
