You need to install DirXML on the eDirectory server you just set up. For this implementation, we're documenting a DirXML installation on Windows. Instructions for installing DirXML on platforms other than Windows are available in the DirXML 1.1a Administration Guide.
Insert the Novell Nsure Resources CD. If you have Autorun turned off, run INSTALL.EXE from the NT directory.
At the Welcome page, click Next.
Read the License Agreement, then click I Accept.
Select DirXML Engine and Drivers and click Next.
Select the DirXML Engine.
If you will be provisioning an eDirectory Account Tree as one of your account systems, select DirXML Driver for eDirectory.
NOTE: Only the eDirectory Driver requires that it be installed on the Workforce Tree as well as on the Account Tree.
Other drivers do not need to be installed at this time because they will use the Remote Loader service, which will be installed and configured later when you set up each system.
Click Next.
In the Schema Extension dialog box, enter the following information:
Tree Name: This field is already populated with the tree name you specified during the eDirectory installation.
Fully Distinguished User Name: Browse to and select the admin user you created during eDirectory installation, for example, Admin.Services.YourOrganization
User Password: Enter the Admin password you defined during eDirectory installation.
Click Next.
The schema is extended to include DirXML objects such as Driver and Driver Set and DirXML attributes such as DirXML associations.
At the Summary page, click Finish, then at the Installation Complete page, click Close.
You have completed setup of the Workforce Tree.
