When you run the Exchange Gateway, it adds a file to the Exchange installation directory.
The exchsvr directory is the standard directory to which Microsoft Exchange is installed on a server. On Windows 2000, it is located in the Program Files directory. On Windows NT, it is located at the root.
The address directory contains a subdirectory for each address type that defined in the Exchange system. In addition the GroupWise address type, address types include SNMP, cc:Mail, and X.400.
The gwise\i386 directory is where the Exchange Gateway Installation program installs the program that makes GroupWise users addressable in the Exchange system.
The gwproxy.dll file is the program that generates GroupWise-type addresses for all Exchange users.
