For instructions on interpreting the information displayed on the Notes Gateway server console, and for information about other monitoring alternatives, see Section 8.0, Monitoring the Notes Gateway.

  3. Stop and then start the MTAs in the GroupWise system.

This establishes the links to the non-GroupWise domain that represents the Notes system.

In the alphabetical list of services, the name of the Notes Gateway service starts with the name of the domain where the gateway is installed, followed by the name of the gateway itself, followed by Service. For example, if the domain is named Connector and the gateway is named Notes, then the name of the service would be ConnectorNotesService.

  3. Select the gateway service, then click Start.

When running as a service, the Notes Gateway does not have a console on the server where it is running. However, you can monitor it in other ways, as described in Section 8.0, Monitoring the Notes Gateway.

  4. Stop and then start the MTAs in the GroupWise system.

This establishes the links to the non-GroupWise domain that represents the Notes system.
