The LDAP driver runs in any Identity Manager 3.5.1 installation or Remote Loader installation. See Prerequisites to Installation
in the Identity Manager 3.5.1 Installation Guide.
The provided sample configuration for the LDAP driver supports “account” and “group membership” entitlements.
Passwords can be synchronized on the Subscriber channel either by issuing a modify-password command, or by mapping the nspmDistributionPassword attribute used with the Universal Password feature to the userpassword attribute on the LDAP server. Passwords can be synchronized on the Publisher channel only with the Sun Java System Directory. See Section 2.3, Installing and Configuring Password Synchronization.
