Novell Identity Manager 4.0.2

Download and Installation Instructions

downloading identity manager components

  1. On the Novell Identity Manager Downloads page, click the Download button next to a file you want.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a directory on your computer.
  3. Repeat from Step 1 until you have downloaded all the files you need for your platforms.

Note:  The ISO files contain both 32-bit and 64-bit media. The Linux ISO files should be copied onto a double layer DVD because of the large size of the ISO files. The installation lays down the appropriate binaries based on your selection during installation. The Office 365 driver is available as a separate zip file, NIdM_Driver_4.0.2_Office365.zip.

Identity Manager Advanced Edition DVD for Windows

Includes the following items:

  • iManager
  • Identity Vault (eDirectory)
  • Identity Manager server, Remote Loader, and all drivers
  • Roles Based Provisioning Module
  • Identity Reporting Module

  • Designer
  • Role Mapping Administrator

The drivers included are the drivers that run on Windows only.

iManager and Password Management plug-ins are available in each product ISO.

activating identity manager products

Identity Manager products require activation, except Designer and the Role Mapping Administrator. The following products can be used for a 90-day evaluation period before you need to either discontinue using them or purchase an activation:

Analyzer requires an activation to run.
