1.6 NetWare Server Issues for iFolder 2.1.5

The following are known issues for Novell iFolder 2.1.5 on Open Enterprise Server:

1.6.1 iFolder Welcome Pages Not Installed

If you install the iFolder servers, without upgrading the NetWare server, the Welcome pages do not get upgraded and the Welcome page does not show the link to download the iFolder client for Linux. This happens because the Welcome page for a product is installed only when the product is installed during the installation or upgrade of the NetWare server. Therefore, in this case, download and install the iFolder client for Linux from http://server-name/iFolder.

1.6.2 Redirect Failed Error

If the administrator configures the iFolder server with both a public and a private IP address and tries to view the user information by using only the public IP address, the iFolder Admin Console returns a Redirect failed! message and the user information is not displayed. In this case, restart the iFolder server by running the following commands at the system console:

stopifolder

startifolder

Under User Account Settings, accessing Edit User (Client) Policy > Remove iFolder User Data > Recover iFolder User Pass Phrase returns an Access Forbidden message.

To resolve this problem, access the iFolder Admin Console using the private IP address in the URL.
