This section provides instructions to help you install Novell® ZENworks® for Servers (ZfS) 3.0.2 Policy and Distribution Services to NetWare® and Windows servers where ZfS 2 has not previously been installed.
To install Policy and Distribution Services to servers where ZfS 2 exists, follow the instructions in Upgrading from ZENworks for Servers 2.
To install Policy and Distribution Services to Linux* or Solaris* servers, follow the instructions in Installing Policy and Distribution Services on Linux or Solaris Servers. However, you should install Policy and Distribution Services to NetWare and Windows servers first.
IMPORTANT: To install a portion of Policy and Distribution Services, such as additional Distributors and Subscribers, or to install only Subscriber software to a server, see Reinstalling Policy and Distribution Services on NetWare and Windows Servers, where more detailed instructions are provided for each installation page. The instructions in this section are tailored to a first-time installation of ZfS.
