To assign a profile to a user

1. Right-click the User object click Properties Login Script.
2. Click the browse button next to the Profile field select the Profile object click OK.
3. Click OK.
4. Ensure that the user effectively has the Browse right to the Profile object and the Read right to the Login Script property of the Profile object. For help with this, see Related Topics below.

The profile login script will execute on the user's workstation the next time he or she logs in, as explained in Login Script (Profile).
