Assigning security equivalence is sometimes easier than setting up all the rights for the user individually. You can also use security equivalence as a condition in the logic of login scripts.
Security Equal To
Lists the objects that the user is explicitly security equivalent to. You don't need to add the [Public] trustee or the user's parent containers to the list, because the user is implicitly security equivalent to these. If you add an object to the list, the system automatically adds the user to that object's Security Equal To Me property.
Add
Click this button or press Insert to add one or more objects to the list.
Delete
Click this button or press Del to remove the selected objects from the list. Use Shift-click or Ctrl-click to select multiple objects.
