The Recommendation X.25 provides a set of optional user facilities that addresses the need for versatility in network requirements. These facilities include the following:
These facilities give you the option of tailoring NetWare Link/X.25 to meet your network and user requirements. In addition, these facilities allow a network planner (or installer) to fine-tune the network's handling of specific areas (such as security, accounting, routing, and performance). You can select and incrementally specify these facilities to the particular needs of the users on a network. Many facilities can be used within an X.25 connection to a PDN.
