7.2.1 CD Player

NLD includes CD Player for playing CDs. The first time a CD is inserted, NLD detects the CD and prompts you about running CD Player. If you select Yes, the player is launched. If you select No, no application is launched.

To launch CD Player manually, click NMultimediaCD PlayerCD Player.

7.2.2 KsCD

KsCD is an easy-to-use audio CD player that is CDDB enabled. To launch the player, click NMultimediaCD PlayerKsCD.

KsCD can be integrated into the KDE taskbar, and can be configured to start playing automatically after a CD has been inserted. To access the configuration options, click ExtrasConfigure KsCD.

KsCD can also be configured to search an online CDDB server for album and track information. Click CDDB to open the CD Database Editor dialog which lets you fetch and upload information.
