9.2 Viewing Storage and Network Adapter Information

To view information about the storage and network adapters that are installed on the server and the slots they are in, access the Disk/LAN Adapter page by clicking the Disk/LAN Adapter link in the navigation frame.

From this page, you can do the following:

If the driver does not register a slot, it is reported as an ISA slot.

9.2.1 Viewing Additional Storage Adapter Information

  • Storage Statistics button: Displays statistical information for the media manager of the server.

  • Info link: Displays the resources registered for that adapter.

  • Name link: Displays the information for the devices that are controlled by the adapter.

  • Parameters link: If present, displays the settable parameters for the adapter. If the parameters are not viewable from this interface, an N/A appears.

9.2.2 Viewing Additional Network Adapters Information

  • Network Statistics button: Accesses the LSL (Link Support Layer) Statistical Information page. This page displays the statistics generated and maintained by the LSL of the server including Event Control Blocks (ECBs) information and statistics, LAN driver information, and a dynamic graph showing packets per second on the adapter.

  • Info link: Displays the resources registered and counter information for that adapter.

  • Name link: Accesses the Hardware Adapters/Network Adapters/Protocols page, where you can view the driver name, version and date, hardware settings, node address, and binding number as well as the frame types, board name, and protocols that are bound to that adapter.

  • Parameters link: If present, displays the settable parameters for the adapter. If the parameters are not viewable from this interface, an N/A appears.
