To use the Novell implementation of AFP file services on your OES 11 SP3 server, you must install the service by using the instructions in the OES 11 SP3: Installation Guide (for a new installation) or install it after the initial OES installation, as explained in Installing AFP after OES 11 SP3 Installation
in theOES 11 SP3: Novell AFP for Linux Administration Guide.
NOTE:If you are new to OES, we recommend the OES 11 SP2: Getting Started with OES 11 and Virtualized NetWare for an introduction to creating and working with eDirectory objects and OES file services, including Novell AFP.
All eDirectory users can access the AFP file services on an OES 11 SP3 server as they would any Macintosh server.
