This section contains the Domain Services for Windows installation and configuration issues.
DSfW does not recognize spaces in the container name. If you have a container that has a name with spaces, specifying the context of this container during installation results in failure.
When you install DSfW in an existing eDirectory™ tree, you must enter the username for authentication in standard eDirectory/LDAP format and not DSfW (domain) format.
Novell plans to address this issue in a future OES release.
If you are installing DSfW in an existing eDirectory setup, the installation overwrites the /etc/init.d/ndsd script.
We recommend that you back up the ndsd script before proceeding with the installation.
Novell plans to address this issue in a future OES release.
