F.1 Error Code List

This section includes the following error codes:

0xA00004

Source: iManager
Explanation: The Printer object on which an operation is being attempted does not exist.
Possible Cause: This usually happens when you select a printer from the object browser history, but the actual object has been deleted.

HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED/401

Source: Apache Web server
Explanation: Authentication failed.
Possible Cause: You have provided incorrect user credentials.
Action: Provide correct credentials. For more information on the error, refer to the Apache logs.

Add-on Errors

Source: Windows 2008 with the Internet Explorer 8 browser.
Explanation: On Windows 2008, users are not allowed to run the add-ons on Internet Explorer 8 browsers.
Possible Cause: Your browser is not running as an Administrator or the URL is not a part of the Trusted site list.
Action: Add the iPrint URL to the trusted site list or run your browser as an Administrator.

Source: Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
Explanation: Adding a driver to the driver store fails.
Possible Cause: The unsigned drivers are not supported for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Action: Use a signed driver.

Source: OES iPrint Client.
Explanation: The administrator has updated the iPrint Client to version 5.40 then created a profile and associated the profile with a printer. If you install the same printer and you have an earlier version of the iPrint Client on your workstation, you get an error message indicating that The parameter is incorrect.
Possible Cause: Administrator has created the profile using the latest version of the iPrint Client version 5.40 and you have an earlier version of the iPrint Client installed on your workstation.
Action: Ignore this error message. Your printer is installed.

You should use the latest version of the iPrint Client on user workstations.
